Maurice U. Cahn
Maurice U. Cahn has more than twenty
years of experience in the intellectual property field. He uses a
multidisciplinary approach to matters by appearing before a variety of
courts and agencies to obtain, enforce, and defend against asserted
intellectual property rights.
Mr. Cahn has extensive patent
prosecution experience and is the attorney of record for hundreds of
Federal trademark registrations. He has successfully represented clients in
an array of Federal court litigations in a wide variety of patent,
trademark, copyright and trade secret matters. Mr. Cahn has also
represented and advised clients in agency matters pending before the US
PTO, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, U.S. Customs Service, and the
Consumer Product and Safety Commission. The depth and diversity of his
experience in the field of intellectual property allows him to effectively
counsel clients in intellectual property acquisition, management,
protection and enforcement.
Mr. Cahn earned his Juris
Doctor from Catholic University Columbus School of Law and received both
his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Chemistry from Lehigh University
where his graduate research was in the field of organic radioimmunoassay
techniques.
